"Naked Cake" Recipe

The cake mix I used was Duncan Hines French Vanilla made per the instructions on the box, ( I added one extra egg white per recipe).

Frosting Recipe:

Whip together for 10 minutes -
   1 cup butter flavored Crisco
   1/2 cup regular Crisco
   1/2 cup butter

Add -
   2 lb. bag of powdered sugar
   1 heaping tablespoon meringue powder

In a separate bowl, stir together -
   2 tsp. vanilla
   2 tsp. butter flavoring
   1/2 tsp. salt
   2 oz. milk or whipping cream
Add this to sugar/shortening mixture and beat until fluffy.
